Topping-Out Ceremony at Latinergården in Aarhus

On Thursday 11 May 2017, c. 70-80 guests attended the topping-out ceremony at Latinergården in central Aarhus. The building, which will accommodate 120 rental homes, 5 commercial leases, and a parking basement, is now starting to take shape. Completion of the project is planned for the end of 2017. The apartment sizes range from 45-124 square meters.
 
In keeping with tradition, there was a wreath on the roof, a hot-dog stand and a cozy atmosphere with participations of the craftsmen, the Local Authority, architects, the building owner and other interested parties.
 
On behalf of the building owner and the turn-key contractor, Jacob Olesen from NRE Denmark spoke of satisfaction with the quality of the work. He praised the craftsmen for their efforts and professional skills, as well as the architects for the architectural expression of the building, which will be an integral part of the old and charming Latinerkvater.
