NRE and Plantorama enters extension agreement

NRE Denmark A/S and Plantorama have entered into an agreement on two larger extensions to the garden center chain's two centers in Viborg and Randers. It is also an extension of the parties' cooperation in continuation of the newly built centers in Tilst and Hørsholm, which were completed in the spring this year. NRE Denmark is constructing both center extensions as a turnkey contract.
The new extensions add a total of almost 4,000 square meters spread over approximately 1,500 square meters in Viborg and approximately 2,500 square meters in Randers in the form of covered outdoor sections with flexible roll air-roofs that can be opened in good weather and closed in rainy weather.

Plantorama`s, project manager, Tue Akstrup Jensen, looks forward to the expansion of what was originally the chain's 2nd and 3rd center, he quotes: “It is about giving customers the best experience and the products the best conditions, and therefore we also focus on furnish our existing centers to appeal to customers. It takes a certain size to be attractive and to be able to offer a wide selection. NRE is a strong partner, with whom we are happy to continue the good collaboration”.
The extensions will be built with energy-saving solutions such as LED lighting and rainwater collection systems for watering flowers and plants.

Both centers are placed in central business areas and is a part of the location around Viborg Storcenter and Randers Storcenter. The extensions will begin in the autumn with expected delivery in the spring of 2022.
