First stage of Søtorvet delivered in Silkeborg

NRE Denmark A/S has completed the construction in the first stage of a large urban development project, by AP Pension, on Søtorvet in central Silkeborg. Where a number of ecolabeled apartments will be built. With the first stage of the construction done, 76 rental and 37 owner-occupied flats, located in three towers, are now ready for the new residents.

The apartments range from 60-163 square meters and contain between 1 and 4 rooms.

NRE Denmark A/S, who handle the construction of AP Pension’s buildings on Søtorvet, are pleased that the first towers are now completed.

All the apartments will be labeled with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, and the CEO of AP Ejendomme, Peter Olsson, is pleased that the first residents can start moving in.

With the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, the buildings live up to a number of requirements in relation to the indoor climate and building materials, for the benefit of both the environment, climate and the residents. Among other things, it has demands for substances that are harmful to the environment and health in both building materials and chemical products.

Ecolabeling Denmark, who are responsible for the certification of the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, are happy that AP Pension’s buildings in Silkeborg are ecolabeled.
