Bottom plate cast in 22 hours in a row

Tuesday the 13th December the bottom plate at WTC Ballerup Tower was cast.
 
Not less than 240 concrete cars full of concrete shuttled to and from the World Trade Center Ballerup in connection with the casting of the 2.235 cubic meters lange and 5.300 tons heavy bottom plate for the 15-floor office tower.
 
The casting started at 5 am in the morning and in almost a day there arrived a concrete car every 8 minute.
 
The next phase of the construction is to continue with the casting of the walls in the basement of the office tower.
 
The new tower will increase the capacity of the existing WTC Ballerup with 19.000 square meters in the form of office community, conference facilities and service apartments. Further a new parking house with more than 400 parking places on the south-west corner of the plot.
