NRE wins tender in Glostrup

NRE Wins Tender for the Development of Banegårdspladsen in Glostrup

NRE has won Glostrup Municipality’s tender for a centrally located site at Banegårdspladsen in Glostrup. The municipality received a total of five purchase offers.

The site is zoned for residential development with commercial space on parts of the ground floor and allows for a total gross floor area of approximately 8,600 square metres. The project will form part of the ongoing development of Glostrup town centre, where new residential buildings, commercial premises and public spaces will be established in a station-adjacent area over the coming years.

A due diligence period is now being initiated, which among other things includes the preparation of initial design proposals. The period runs until 20 March, after which the Municipal Council is expected to grant final approval of the transaction. The timeline for the final project will be coordinated with Glostrup Municipality’s project to relocate the bus terminal, and construction is therefore expected to commence in the first quarter of 2028.
