NRE Denmark A/S has just completed the third and final stage of nearly 20,000 square meters freight terminal for the freight forwarding company ALPI. The building is located near exit 40 at Hammerum between Herning and Ikast.
NRE Denmark has build the total construction under just two years. Stage 3 has included ALPI's new administrationbuilding of 4,500 square meters. In addition to office and meeting facilities, the building also includes a large open atrium, kitchen- and canteen facilities, a private café and large terraces.
Carsten Sjørvad, CFO at ALPI Danmark A/S, says: "With the use of the administrationbuilding, two years of profitable partnerships between ALPI and NRE has reached the end. We are proud of the results achieved through constructive cooperation between many parties, where employees from NRE have gathered the threads and demonstrated competence, creativity and great focus on quality and functional solutions."
NRE Denmark A/S has had the role of turnkey contractor. CEO Jacob Olesen says: "It has been a trustworthy construction process with good cooperation between all parties throughout the entire project period. It is with great pleasure that we now have delivered the final stage of a beautiful construction of over 20,000 square meters to a local company like ALPI."
Stage one of the building consisted of a new terminal building of 8,000 square meters. Stage two consisted of 8,000 square meters of warehouse. In 2014, ALPI brought in the 150,000 square meter plot which the construction is built. Architects on the project is Årstiderne Arkitekter.
