NRE Sweden build 74 apartments in Vallentuna

NRE Sweden AB announce that they have an option on the development of two areas in the new development area Kristineberg in Vallentuna. They have been selected as one of the winners of the municipal competition, in which a total of 170 proposals were received. NRE is going to construct 4 buildings with 74 apartments, underground parking and retail at the ground floor - a building totaling to approximately 6200 squaremeters.

Kristineberg is located approximately 2 km southeast of Vallentuna center. Vallentuna is a growth area and Kristineberg is an urban district with a green identity and direct proximity to nature and great recreation areas.

"We are really looking forward to contributing to Vallentunas growth and the new district Kristineberg through the construction of new homes in the area. The proposals have been assessed according to price, environment and design, so we are extra pleased that we can contribute with ideas and solutions that Vallentuna Municipality like. This is one of the most exciting residential projects, which we are disigning at the moment, and we hope to contribute to the area with some Danish architecture where our roots come from "says Mark Frederiksen, CEO of NRE Sweden.

The new construction in the area is going to take place in five stages of which this is the first stage. A total of 1700-1800 homes will be built in the area - in varying sizes and along with shops, schools, restaurants, kindergartens, square and playgrounds. In Kristineberg are valuable areas with ample pine forest which is over 300 years old. These areas will, more or less, stay untouched to strengthen the impression of Kristineberg as a green district with good opportunities for recreation. The area will have a high architectural standard and will be designed to be adapted to the character and qualities of the area.
