Grunwalds Have is now completed

The mixed-use residential development Grunwalds Have, located in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, is now fully completed. The project, delivered by NRE as contractor for AP Pension and AKB/KAB, brings both new youth housing and cultural facilities to the area – including a dedicated rehearsal hall for Østerbro Teater.

Grunwalds Have comprises a total of 223 youth housing units, of which 56 are social housing. The homes are arranged around a green and welcoming courtyard, contributing to a vibrant and diverse urban environment close to the city center, the harbour and recreational areas.

The name Grunwalds Have is a tribute to the Danish actor Morten Grunwald and reflects the area's cultural heritage and creative spirit.

As part of the development, a new rehearsal hall for Østerbro Teater has also been constructed, providing space for rehearsals and behind-the-scenes creative work – to the benefit of both the art and the local community.

In Grunwalds Have, we have brought to life a project that combines housing, culture, and urban life in a unified expression.
